Went here last weekend and my partner and I had a breakfast of which the quality was great. However the bill came to £32 which I thought was well over the top. I just realised reading these reviews they add a 10,%service charge that wasn't brought to my attention at the time. I think I couldvofvgot same meal in area for half the price. Simples won't be returning. I just realised I was so unaware of the service charge all I had was 55 pence in change and I offered it to the lady (owner) at the till as nobody carries change these days but she still took it it and at no point raised the point I had...

This bistro/restaurant is the most pleasant place to take a lunch. The food is freshly prepared and very tasty. Prices are very good. The ambience is bright and warming. Visited today looking for an exceptional tea room with my partner and 2 labradors !! The lady who served us was extremely friendly, welcoming and the cakes were heavenly !! Sat in the garden enjoying the sun and it was so nice we ordered another cake and more tea !! What a wonderful start to our Easter weekend !! Highly recommended!! Jim, Irene...
