This is the largest Wetherspoons I have visited. It's a very large open plan old building where you can see the food being prepared as well as having huge outdoor space which enables them to split it into a smoking and non smoking area. Bravo, as a non smoker this was brilliant to find on a very warm and sunny day and made my visit far more pleasurable. We used the App to order food and I was pleased to see several new choices on the menu as I am not able to eat the burgers due to something in the mix (possibly cooking oil or spread but it tastes really funky). I went with a chicken shawarma wrap with chips. It was fine. The chicken pieces were very small compared to a 'real' shawarma but it was definitely spicy and tasty enough. Staff and service was excellent, nothing I could fault there, they were polite and helpful.

For a random Tuesday lunchtime it was fairly busy. I can imagine this place heaving on an evening and would be far too busy for me, but I would happily visit...

Great food, fast service, cheap, would recommend downloading the Wetherspoons app. It's a shame that the barmen wouldn't take any tips only two of them both women working extremely hard on a late wednesday night they both had been working bar, cleaning tables and serving tables emptying bins and who knows. all on there own and Having really worked well as a team they dealt with many rude customers and though out all, they kept a friendly smile. There is only 1 reason why i canot rate a 5 star which Is, only on one occasion I have been given a steak (witch what ordered as a medium rare) stone cold and rare, pink all the way through. 6th Oct 2018 Other than that great experience and will still be eating here almost...
