Bagel Factory Southampton — Restaurant in Southampton

This place is absolutely shocking! First of all it is completely overpriced. Near £6 for one bagel. But the service was so rude it was almost funny and it was the apparent manager that was rude.

My partner had ordered a bagel with some sort of pulled meat in it I was awaiting the order. I asked for a tap water with the order. I was given a self rightouse look of diserproval, and was told sternly "we do sell bottled water in the fridge".

To which I replied "oh sorry I don't want to purchase a bottle just a little tap water will do its just for my daughter"

The surly manager again replied assertively "we sell bottled water it's in the fridge Sir!"

Shocked and slightly amused. Rrmarked that I could see the tap and if he wanted I would pay for a paper cup. He was not amused.

The bagel came I delivered it to my partner who said the meat inside was cold and the bagel on the outside was cold.

Normally I would return it for her but thought it was better if she returned it.

The manger was rude to her and had accused me of abusing...

I recently visited The Bagel Factory and was served by Dimitrios and Ceyean, who made the experience truly enjoyable. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a friendly atmosphere. Dimitrios was particularly attentive, ensuring that my order was exactly as I wanted it. His recommendations were spot on, and his knowledge of the menu was impressive. Ceyean was equally wonderful, preparing my bagel with care and precision. The service was quick, but never rushed, and both Dimitrios and Ceyean were genuinely kind throughout the entire process.

As for the food, the bagels were fresh, delicious, and full of flavor—exactly what you’d hope for at a place specializing in bagels. The combination of great service and excellent food made my visit memorable. I highly recommend The Bagel Factory, especially if you have the chance to be served by Dimitrios and Ceyean. First time going to this place, and everything was really great - the bagels were fresh and the vegan options were clearly displayed and really tasty. Vishal served me, and was very friendly and fast with service.

If I had any suggestions, it would be the following - maybe offer a menu (or have a display of one) for pricing of just plain bagel to take away for home because they were nice and fresh and it would be good to have different flavours of bagel at home; a few more vegan options (like a vegan reuben which would be amazing); and an "everything" flavour bagel, because those are awesome 👌🏻

Overall, really glad one of these has opened near me now as I have more options...
