Corniche — Restaurant in Southampton

Ordered food to be delivered via uber eats waited 20/25mins for the order to be ready to then get a phone call to be told they havnt got a drive but will have one in a min so can i cancel my order and re order it, i said they will have to cancel it as i can be charged through uber eats for cancelling a order to late so they cancelled my order told me to re do it but changed there uber to pick up only then told me to do it on deliveroo but changed it to not delivering to that area then asked me to do just eat which said pick up only or deliver at 3.45 when the time now is 11.30 am, they then asked me to collect it and i explained that i ordered this to my place of work for lunch so it Sounds like they were trying to make extra money out of me by telling me to cancel a order but said they had a driver on way to them but that did not come up on the app after asking them if they had a driver there and i will pay in cash they said they dont have a driver and put the phone down on me. roughly a £25 order for me and colleagues Was told good things about this place but what a let down...

I ordered from Corniche Lounge today and my experience was somewhat mixed. Despite specifying my preference for the mix shawarma without salad, it was unfortunately included, which was disappointing. The tabbouleh lacked freshness, diminishing its potential appeal. The lentil soup, while flavorful, was slightly more salted than preferred. The standout of the meal was the mix shawarma wrap, which was excellently prepared, not at all greasy, and served with particularly pleasing bread. The pricing was reasonable, reflecting the overall quality of the meal, and the inclusion of complimentary Naan bread was a thoughtful gesture. This restaurant has lost its charm and I predict its already running under loss and soon would be eaten by its competitors. The chef of the restaurant is highly incompetent, very unwelcoming, potentially unhygienic (this is from our observation and confrontation), has lost his heart for cooking, and is frustrated all the time. Some of the staff members are so rude that you will loose your appetite. We were regular patrons even though the restaurant is mostly empty just because on occasion they served good food. But lately everything is just garbage. I highly recommend not to order from this restaurant and would recommend going to Uni Kebab which serves the best food and has the best service and they deserve all...
