YummyThai Noodle Bar — Restaurant in Southampton

Great food! Very tasty and nice to have a take away! The only thing I would say is the Penang curry was not dry, it was the same consistency as the green curry. Neither curry had bamboo shoots and both had the same vegetables (not true to the description online). If they had said seasonal vegetables in the description i would have been more understanding. However there was a good amount of vegetables. The pad Thai was amazing, my favourite dish and a throw back to eating in Thailand. We had the salt and pepper squid also, although abit expensive for the amount you get. The portions for the currys and the pad thai were very good. The prawns in the curry were a good size and tasted nice too. Will be returning in person again...

Yummy Thai is an amazing restaurant! The food was completely authentic and the price was extremely good value for money. It was like eating proper home cooked Thai food again! This is probably the best restaurant in the whole of the Southampton area. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. My wife is Filipino and is really fussy when it comes to eating Oriental food. She was also really impressed too and so that's the proof of the pudding for me! After leaving the owner chased after me down the street. I wondered what I'd done? "Excuse me sir", he said, "you've forgotten your wallet!". How many people are that honest these days? Thank you so much. We'll be back again...

Nothing bad to be said, really. From the moment we entered the service from all the employees was really nice and even had some nice conversations with them.

The menu has a variety of Thai food and they explain the menu quite clearly.

Food was prepared quite quickly and it was delicious. The quality was satisfying as well. You could have a very filling meal for around £10 per person.

They have a 20% student discount for take away!

They only accept cash, PayPal or payment through their app only. Which could be inconvenient if you were hoping to pay with cash. But there is a cash machine just a minute of walking...
