Raw chicken !!! The food arrived with 5 minutes of making our order. The chicken looked very pink inside on closer look we found part of the middle was completely raw. We complained to be told it was cooked in an oven before grilling. Showing the manager the raw bit of chicken he said he needed to speak to someone so went off. At this point I noticed a member of staff open the hot plate and put chicken on the grill he tapped the tongs on the grill then picked the chicken back up again within less then 10seconds and put it in the burger bun. The manager offered a refund. But then tried to only refund two of the meals even though we had bitten into raw chicken and the kids also had. When I pointed this out he got the full refund money in cash then said "here is your refund for the raw chicken how can chicken fillet even be raw" seriously the manager didn't even know how chicken could be raw. Is this manager even trained in cooking practice and food safety. The customers in the line to the tills where shocked and hearing us complain a table close to ours noticed there chicken was under cooked. As we left we where given dirty looks by the staff....
Read moreWhat a terrible system this place has - it was a busy lunchtime and my daughter and I needed somewhere to sit and eat a nice meal on a busy shopping day. We joined the queue and noticed that a member of the team was coming along the line talking to those ahead of us. He didn’t talk to us though, despite being in the normal line, and when we got to the front of the queue we were bluntly told that our names weren’t on the list and he couldn’t seat us. Did we stand there for our health? He then said that even though we had waited and were at the front of the queue, he would seat all the others behind us - because their names were presumably taken. Not our fault that he missed us when walking up the line and, I assume, taking names as it wasn’t clear why he was coming along the line so we didn’t challenge it when he didn’t ask us. What a terrible system. Yes, it was busy but that’s no excuse - it’s not like we pushed into the queue at the front - we had waited patiently for 30 mins for a table. Read moreBeen to the restaurant many times with the family and had a wonderful time. However today was the first time we ordered home delivery and we are very disappointed with the service. The delivery came on time and the bags sealed with their stickers. I noticed we were missing an item. I called the branch and spoke to a very unhelpful person who said I should call the delivery company they will arrange a discount. He didn't check to see if the missed item was still there and basically said as soon as the delivery leaves them it's not their problem. No accountability for incorrect orders here. After a back and forth conversation where I would not let him talk over me anymore, he agreed it's unfair that "if" they made a mistake, the delivery company has to pay for it and that as the customer I have to call around to make arrangements for refund ect. Failing to get an order correct, lack of ownership and rudeness by overtaking me has made me give this a two star review. Hope that this will help further improve the training within the branch. Until then they have lost us...
