AWFUL PLACE DO NOT GO !
A very awful service, if I could I would give 0 stars. The woman at the till was very rude and condescending when asked to speak to her manager she says I am the manager please leave. Kashif was also unprofessional after booking my family in, we were not seated and instead informed they don't take bookings its first come first serve after confirming booking twice before the reservation with Kashif. The place looked busy very little social distancing and none of the tables looked like they were being served, even the staff were getting very close nor any masks in use.
They don't know how to run or manage a business, worrying the lack of distance due to COVID 19, no precautions taken seems like they just want to fill as many seats as possible, money is more important than the health of there customers. Happy to not have been served due to the lack of space, would recommend smokeys next door.
** Edit as you can see from there response below they are still being rude "we are glad we could not be of service " although they were seating as many people as possible after us and on many occasions customers waiting outside frustrated as they too booked and clearly they were double booking customers. DO NOT say first come first serve but let me book over the phone confirming the online booking reservation request I have proof of the call as to where Kashif confirmed my booking TWICE. Also the manager woman would not give me her name to leave a bad review regarding her...
Read moreI came to the Persian Palace last Saturday with my husband, daughter and grand daughters was absolutely delighted . The waiter couldn't have been more helpful, getting my wheelchair through the door and me comfortably settled. He was attentive, informative and patient. Thank you. We particularly chose this restaurant because we had visited Iran several times and had always rejoiced in the cuisine once you get away from the monotonous kebabs! I had a delicious lamb stew with okra, and we had the lovely authentic Persian hummus, yoghurt and cucumber and aubergine side dishes which were obviously prepared in the restaurant. The consistency and of course the flavour just can't be reproduced by the bland over processed dips you get elsewhere. The rice, now the rice was to die for. You could see at a glance it was much longer and fluffier than rice of other nations. We asked where the restaurant got it from and of course it was imported from Iran. Although the restaurant was unlicensed they were happy for us to take our own bottle of wine and provided stemmed glasses for it. The only criticism I can make is that I found the meal salty. This may just be a personal taste but I do advise your cook to use less than half the salt for British tastes. I shall certainly be back...

THE MANAGER WAS RUDE, SHE DIDN'T CARE THAT I HAD BOOKED AND HAD AN ELDERLY PERSON WITH ME. SHE GAVE THE TABLE THAT BECAME FREE TO PEOPLE WHO CAME AFTER US AND SAID FOR US TO WAIT. BECAUSE I WAS QUESTIONING AS TO WHY WE HAD TO WAIT AND OTHERS WERE SAT DOWN BEFORE US WHEN WE HAD BOOKED AND THE GUY KASHIF HAD AUTHORISED THAT, SHE WAS GETTING ANNOYED AND TOLD ME AND MY FAMILY TO LEAVE. THE MANAGER NEEDS TO LEARN HOW TO SPEAK TO PEOPLE, I ASKED HER IS THIS HOW YOU SPEAK TO CUSTOMERS AND SHE SAID YES!!. ANOTHER GROUP SHE KICKED OUT BECAUSE THEY HAD QUESTIONED TOO. SHE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS AND THE OLD WOMAN PUSHED ME OUT THE RESTAURANT. YOU DO NOT TOUCH CUSTOMERS EVER ESPECIALLY DURING A PANDEMIC. ALSO THE PREMISES LOOKED VERY UNCLEAN AND I DIDN'T REALISE THEY WERE FULLY BOOKED AND IT LOOKED VERY CROWDED. I WILL BE SPEAKING TO THE COUNCIL ABOUT THEIR 1 METER DISTANCE WHICH CLEARLY SHOWS THEY ARE NOT FOLLOWING GOVERMENT SOCIAL DISTANCING GUIDELINES AND TOUCHING ME TO PUSH ME OUT WAS WRONG ESPECIALLY DURING COVID. PEOPLE SHOULD KEEP A DISTANCE AND NOT TOUCH EACH...
