The Songbird Ice Cream Cafe and Creative Space — Restaurant in Southampton

The Songbird is my favourite ice-cream and drinks café! Delicious ice cream, drinks, cake and some food (my children LOVE having the Teddy Bear's Picnic for lunch!). The staff are so friendly, and there is a really relaxed atmosphere, which is also child friendly. Selection of locally made items for sale. Comfy seating and an outside 'secret garden' area are up a few stairs, and wheelchair accessible seating downstairs. Be aware that the toilet is upstairs, however I think you can access this floor from a side entrance which is sloped up from the pavement, if you would struggle...

Lovely little independent ice cream cafe in Bitterne Park. It's my local and my favourite place to meet people for tea and cake and my partner and I regularly get our ice creams here on sunny days. Nice selection of ice creams and cakes. Does some lunch things (paninis and soup I think) but for a limited time in the middle of the day. Brunch things (toast, crumpets, teacakes) served all day. Amazing place! The café and it's toilet are always clean. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. It's not just for ice cream! They also serve a wide range of hot and cold drinks, a few cakes and a lunch menu. The lunch menu is limited but lovely. I recently took a friend there for lunch, we both had soup (of which there are usually 2 types on offer). It was lovely, fresh and hot! My daughter loves the little teddy cones.
