had a small party with friends on 31.08.22 at 7.15 pm. Leanne who was behind the bar was very rude and not welcoming. was on the phone and not even a smile. the cocktails she prepared was very bad and her language / or actions are not acceptable as a customer service point of view. first she only gave us one stirrer for the cocktails and no straws. when i asked she rudely refuse to give me straws or stirrers. So we waited for her to disappear and order the other set with Emma surprise surprise the cocktails came with straws. Felt very very uncomfortable and left with huge disappointment. St Albans is very affluential and multicultural town this person behavior not only acceptable to certain extent it is offensive. Hope you can educate her to the standards you would like customers wanted.

We attended a co working / networking event here and have to say the service was fantastic. Food and drinks were extremely good value for money. We were at this venue from 9am till 5:30 and had breakfast and lunch which was all served by very polite, clean and well presented members of staff. As we were working there we had use of the WiFi which had a great signal and allowed us to complete various administrative tasks throughout the day. Over all - very clean and tidy place with easy access to the high street and nearby parking facilities.

I was a little disappointed, the restaurant itself had a stuffy smell, so I had to move closer to the window area, which was slightly better. Had the tower for two, which came with garlic bread, mozzarella sticks, nachos, wings , onion rings and mini burgers. Would rate everything 5/10. The buns for the burgers were kinda thick and a little stale, but the wings were okay, especially after dipping them in hot sauce. The daiquiri was more icy than daiquiri. Overall the experience was underwhelming.

Well what can I say! I love the slug! Dave and caitlin are outstanding! I dont often go out in st Albans but when I do I always book a cheeky table here! You know what you are getting! Good music, lovely cocktails and as I have said great staff! I have been to the S&L in Milton Keynes and London but they have nothing on St Albans!! Thanks S&L we always have the best time!
