I went to this restaurant last night with my two daughters, I visited this restaurant quite a few times last year with my partner. Everything was fine with the starters apart from my chicken tikka mix which I thought the chicken didn't quite smell right. my daughter ordered the samba but when the curry came it was yellow so I asked the waitress to take it back as it was a wrong curry. When the curry came back it was a darker yellow (the same curry!) the curry was sent back three times and each time the curry came back a bit darker! so in the end I told the waitress we didn't want it. when we had finished the waitress come came over and asked us did we enjoy our meals! You can imagine my answer, then to add insult to injury the owner came over and told me that my daughter's curry had been given to someone else and we had a Danske curry BUT the person who had the samba said he had enjoyed it!. Sign of a bad businessman he has just lost hundreds of pounds over the year for the sake of a £7 curry!! Go and check out the cobwebs on the walls and the light...
Read moreWow what a place, the order was 45 minutes later than they said I can accept that but they did not deliver it to me but to someone else and I had to go collect it and it was so warm I had to wear mittens to stop the frost bite, you would think they were taking there time to get everything perfect but I mean why give you everything you ordered when they think 90 percent of things you paid for is acceptable and why would I expect to get everything I order and paid for that would be stupid. The taste is like nothing else you have no idea how good cold rock hard chips are it's worth the trip to your dentist just to have that experience. Cold curry and naan like it's a day old is the absolute best and I would love to tell your about the chutney tray and poppadoms bit I did not get them either so I am only speculating that they were amazing! If you was cold curry with cold rice and rock hard fries two and a half hours from now this is the...
Read moreI went with my mates last night, this is very traditional high street balti house, with shall we say period decor, but they serve great food, give great service, and is very good value for money. Steve the owner was such a nice chap, and made various dish recommendations for us to try and he took time to chat with us which made us feel very Welcome. For such a small place it has a great menu. There are so many places nowadays trying way too hard and turning going out for a curry into a pretentious expensive affair. Keep it simple, cheap and tasty and people will come back time and time again. Balti spice does it well in my book...
