Absolutely delicious! I’ve never been to a Turkish restaurant before. I’m so pleased that my first experience was the best. The food is incredible! Value for money! I couldn’t finish everything 😂. The staff is very polite and friendly! The restaurant looks brilliant and clean, which is very important. I will definitely go back! Thank you for an amazing experience and great food!

Third time here took my sister and her boyfriend still very good but bread was slightly burnt but still good only other complaint was that they charge us £6 for two tiny pots off chilli's sauce that was never charged before that's why took one star off

Beautiful place I came here with Sam and had a pleasant quiet meal. The staff are friendly and as you can tell by the pictures the chiefs are excellent at their jobs. I would definitely highly recommend coming here.

From the moment one steps through the threshold of The Sheesh, an intricate dance of sensory delight begins, enveloping patrons in a tapestry of aromatic spices and tantalizing flavors. The ambiance, a seamless fusion of traditional Turkish aesthetics and modern elegance, sets the stage for an unparalleled dining experience. The warm hues of amber and crimson hues intermingle with ornate patterns adorning the walls, exuding an air of refined authenticity.

Now, onto the pièce de résistance—the gastronomic offerings. The culinary symphony curated by The Sheesh is an ode to the rich and diverse tapestry of Turkish cuisine. The succulent kebabs, each morsel tender and bursting with a harmonious blend of spices, leave an indelible impression on the palate. The meze platter, an opulent array of vibrant flavors and textures, showcases the culinary prowess of the kitchen, featuring classics like hummus, dolma, and baba ganoush, each more exquisite than the last.

Yet, amidst this culinary grandeur, the true gems of The Sheesh reveal themselves in the form of two remarkable waitresses. These two paragons of hospitality effortlessly elevate the dining experience to an ethereal realm. Their impeccable attention to detail, gracious demeanor, and genuine warmth infuse a personal touch, transforming a mere meal into a cherished memory. Whether deftly navigating the menu to cater to diverse palates or offering insightful recommendations, their professionalism is matched only by their innate ability to make patrons feel welcomed and valued.

In summary, The Sheesh stands as a bastion of Turkish gastronomy, a veritable haven where flavors transport one to the bustling bazaars of Istanbul. The dedication to culinary excellence paired with the unparalleled service rendered by the exemplary waitresses, cements The Sheesh as a quintessential destination for connoisseurs seeking an authentic and memorable Turkish...

We visited this establishment with my family late on Friday night, the woman both had the lamb chops and the men had the house special offer for 2 people. It came with a starter of 6 various cold meze with warm Turkish bread absolutely loved it to the point they had to bring more bread, the main didn't disappoint either there was lamb chops, chicken kebabs beef kebabs, lamb ribs, chicken wings and a beef patty which was something like a shish kebab. We both had rice and a Turkish chopped salad. The verdict from the woman was fantastic the chops was melt in the mouth tender and extremely tasty, the same goes for the men every thing on the platter was beyond our expectations we all had drinks for the very reasonable sum of £77 I would have given 5 stars but we couldn't order the Turkish coffee which would have completed the Turkish experience, due to them...

Ordered a sharing platter for 2. Received salad and one tuppaware box for the main and a small bag of bread.

One chop between the 2 of us 5 pieces of chicken and 5 pieces of adana. Cost of £16.50 Someone collected on behalf of us so when it arrived we called to notify the restaurant of the portion size.

The chef come to the phone and was rude and advised if this is small come throw it in my face then proceeded to advised he had worked there for 15 years screaming his head off.

No pounds coins either got 4 pound change in coppers as they don't operate a card system anymore cash only.

Not the best customer service rude and unhelpful Ashame really as the food was tasty But never again.

I've heard this place had gone downhill but as we have used the sheesh for many years thought we'd stay loyal The whispers were...
