Saw this place on Just-Eat but didn't see the sense in paying near-restaurant prices for a home delivery, when we could just get off our backsides and go for a meal instead. There's no free parking nearby unless you arrive after 6 p.m. so bear that in mind if you're driving. The restaurant itself has a nice Greek charm about it, and they've done a good job of making you feel like you're in an authentic taverna. There's even a small shop within the restaurant itself to buy some "Greek groceries", which was a nice touch. The staff were very attentive and friendly - very much service with a smile. As we were driving we ordered what the menu said was "Greek orangeade" but for £4 for a small glass we were disappointed that it seemed to be Fanta - there was nothing to suggest otherwise. For starters we had the prawn saganaki supreme. The dish itself was very flavoursome but the portion size was on the small side, even for a starter. This is a favourite of ours when we go to Greece and servings tend to be more generous in true tavernas. For mains we had souvlaki and gyros - both being the mixed variety to sample the different meats. Both smelled amazing as they were brought to the table. Overall the standard was very good. My husband felt some of the gyros was too fatty but that might just be personal taste. Overall the bill (with a 10% service charge automatically added) came to just over £90. We'll visit again in the future to try different dishes and then decide after that whether this might become a regular place to come to.

We had a lovely experience having a birthday meal for my mother. The staff are really friendly and very patient with a big party of people arriving at different times. The starters were lovely, hummus and pita were good, as were meatballs. My partner said the octopus was tasty. My main of halloumi was lovely after a big starter. The wines were affordable too. I’ve marked down by one point as the QR menu was difficult to use, it’s not user friendly and jumps about a bit - the paper menus are out of date. Not everyone has or is comfortable with smart phones too. My partner also said that his lamb kleftiko wasn’t good as the cheese sauce it came in didn’t taste right, that being said others at the table seemed to enjoy it. Anyway, it was a good experience overall for a special occasion.

Nice, welcoming restaurant. Friendly staff. Standard Greek fare, cooked well and tasty. I would have liked a few more traditional Greek dishes on the menu. The bread could also have been served warm. Service very friendly, and not as slow as their menu warnings might have you believe! Fairly quiet on a Sunday early evening. Ideal for a casual meal. Particularly liked the Feta Melomeni. Great Greek coffee. I recommend ordering a traditional dish, as they seem to do these the best. But, there are plenty of souvlaki and gyros dishes if you prefer simpler meals with chips or rice. There are some basic children's options on the menu. Loses a star for being quite expensive for the area.

Such a shame that the service and attitude of staff let this place down. We don't eat meat so the fact they had a fair few fish options made the place really appealing to us....everything we ordered they didnt have! Settled for the only option which was Red Mullet - which was 'ok' at best! Also our sides didn't arrive, had to ask twice for them. Service is odd with several young servers all waiting on the same table so you get ask anyhting nobody knows whats been ordered, asked etc.... All being said we gave benefit of the doubt and booked again using online booking system, this time bringing our friends with us. We paid £20 deposit to make the booking. Our friends had to cancel last minute due to child sickness, my husband and I still dined, had a 3 course meal each but when we go the bill they refused to deduct the £20 deposit stating it was because our friends couldn't make it. There were plenty of empty tables so it wasn't like they had turned business away, plus we spent a decent amount of money anyway, over £100! I suggested they deduct just £10 as I appreciated it was half a booking but that was a certain no no! It just makes no sense, if we booked over the phone we wouldn't have paid a deposit and therefore not penalised, not very fair at all. After an akward, what felt like a confrutation, with the female manager, we just gave up and paid as she was making a scene with us and made us very very uncomfortable. Safe to say that refusing to deduct our £20 deposit and us having to pay £20 EXTRA for a £100 meal, has cost them our custom in the future. We would never return to an establishment that treat their customers like this. Terrible & what we consider greedy business! Just be aware, the service and treatment...

Hair in food ,very poor customer service visited with my husband on Saturday 11th February. Ordered a number of small dishes to have a tapas style meal, and a bottle of red wine. The fist four plates were served, salad, olives, feta pie, and courgette fritters. I'd eaten a bit of the salad and a fritter when I noticed a hair sticking out of my other one ,after waiting for the waitress to call her over,I decided to go to the bar where the manageress was working,I beconded her over to the edge of the bar as there was a man sat at the other end,and discreetly whispered to avoid embarrassment the situation. She immediately came to our table, my hubby picked up the fritter by the hair, she took the plate away with my knife and fork without saying a word. I expected her to come straight back to apologise and at least bring me another knife ,fork and plate, however she didn't and proceeded to totally ignore us from then on ,passing us, serving others in the next room. After waiting a bit i decided to call the original waitress over and asked her to cancel the rest of the meal order as we were leaving and I was only prepared to pay for the bottle of wine we were drinking,we had stopped eating and had only eaten a little when I found the hair! I am absolutely disgusted in the way the manageress behaved to us, I'd purposely avoided her embarrassment by being so discreet, and yet we were treated this way. There was a large party just ordering their food when I noticed the hair, imagine if I'd have made a big fuss about it and let everyone know.it could have put all those people off ordering!! However I am now telling everyone about my...
