Myself and my partner have just received a replacement boneless bucket to which we originally ordered via telephone order & delivery 10 days ago - we rang on the night after the delivery arrived at our property and complained due to the food not only being freezing cold but also over 45 minutes late & the chicken strips were what I can only describe as severely undercooked. The male whom we made the complaint to over the phone was very polite and apologized sencerily as we explained that the bucket meal was also for our two young children who had stayed up way past their bedtime in order to eat the frankies takeaway meal and had been looking forward to it all day as it is their favourite takeaway in st Helens so you can imagine how utterly disappointed my children were when the food arrived cold and inedible plus they were absolutely starving and stayed up for another hour after wards in order to eat food I had to then cook in the oven for us all. Shortly after I had cooked the meal in the household oven my partner left the house to go to work on a construction job located in Birmingham and that's why we refused when the man on the phone from frankies offered to send the replacement meal out for us straight away as we were all tired and my partner had to go to bed. So the reason we only had the order delivered tonight is because my partner only arrived home from Birmingham 3 hours ago. Anyway to get to the point I am now going to angrily make - I was stood looking out of the living room window when the delivery driver for frankies pulled up on our front and witnessed him firstly asking my partner what was wrong with the meal and was it two weeks ago ... Very nasty and rudely might I add and he was staring at my partner like he was going to attack him. My partner then asked where was the bottle of pop which we were told on the phone when we rang up for the replacement tonight a little over an hour ago now that the bottle of pop would be delivered with the boneless bucket for the drivers response to stick out his arm point at the meal which he had handed over to my partner and again very rudely and arrogantly said 'Nahhh you don't get drink with that mate ' I don't like how he seemed to believe he was much better than my partner because that's certainly how he was acting and to be quite honest with you mate if you read this I might be a woman but rest assured I will certainly put you in your place - how very dare you speak and look at my partner in that way the absolute cheek of you - who the hell do you think you are at all ? Do your deliveries and keep your big fat nosey konk out of our god dam...
Read moreOrdered 3 XL pizzas and some large fries for a family get together, order arrived a little bit late but everyone was starving so thought better later than never, when checked pizzas were normal size pizzas and NOT the XL ones ordered, was promised a refund when the driver called the shop to say order was wrong and as a refund had been promised decided to not make a fuss with the driver who was friendly and helpful the only reason 1 star was given The pizzas that did arrive were dreadful quality, topping falling off completely when trying to separate the slices and to make things worse the base underneath the topping was soggy and undercooked, the fries were also soggy and just tasted of salt. After being promised a refund we left it at that and checked on Monday and Tuesday and the money had not been taken out of the account and left on hold so thought they had been true to their word and the refund would appear as the money had not been authorised by them and drop off after being on hold a day or two later, same on Wednesday morning when checked money still on hold. Checked the bank account Thursday morning and the money now taken out, contacted Uber to complain and as the company had only taken the money out after the complaint deadline (2 days) they could not do anything. Called the shop to explain and they said theres nothing they can do as its been 4 days after order and money would have been taken out same day, checked again with bank and had proof money was requested Sunday and only taken out late Wednesday but they again refused to offer any compensation after calling back with this info . Supposedly speaking to a manager on each occasion but think it was not actually a manager as customer experience was dreadful asking again about refund he was then very abrupt and rude. Dreadful customer service and obviously waited till complaint deadline with Uber had ended before ripping customer off and taking full amount 35 pounds wasted on rubbish food and overcharging for sizes of Pizza actually delivered, Driver was very friendly though and he also spoke to shop about refund on my behalf. Person who I spoke to said he had no records of who was working Sunday or who the driver was, surely this shows something dodgy going on, not even any offer of a partial refund. Hopefully this review might save someone else being ripped off and getting dreadful...

Pizza arrived with zero pepperoni. Called the restaurant and was told that the ovens were off but that the chef remembered putting pepperoni on the pizza. After I insisted there was no pepperoni there and suggesting I could send a photograph there and then, I was told to 'bring the pizza back tomorrow lunchtime and I will put pepperoni on it' which is beyond a joke. Absolutely disgusting service. After I complained to Just Eat the following day, I received a full refund. However the Just Eat representative mentioned that they had spoken to the manager who had refused to authorise a refund as they felt they were not at fault! You don't deserve...
