How is this place still open? There's absolutely no way it's getting return customers, the service and food is terrible!.
My "OG kebab" was an embarrassment, Freezing cold, ten tonne of salad that had definitely been put on with a catapult and a reasonable amount of stone cold meat, the bread was bone dry with the tiniest amount of sauce I'd ever laid eyes on, I think who ever assembled it must of had a fit half way through.
The 14 single fries given and there was 14 because i counted them were warm with a miniscule amount of cheese sauce on the very tip of them.
My partners "BOX kebab meal" was beyond a joke an not a very funny one, my partner was livid the whole time we were there. The box was half full with salad and a teenie weenie bit of meat at the bottom looked like scraps, some of it was rock solid dry like it had been scraped from behind the grill.
It also had absolutely no cheese sauce on the fries which we had paid for.
The kids junior donner burger was very very basic, what looked like a toasted warbutons bun with a small amount of chicken pieces on, the thing was tasteless and bland.
We complained as we were in total shock with how bad it was. The girl on the till looked like she had just been woke up from a 3 day session, she had zero cares to give, she must of herd the complaints a thousand times, we looked to be a massive inconvenience to her.
No apology was given...
Our adult meals were replaced.
My OG meal was now hotish but now they decided to put 10 tonne of cabbage on no other salad was found, a decent amount of meat but again I couldn't find any sauce, who wants a dry kebab!.
My partners box meal they hadn't changed it they just decided to slap a load of cheese sauce on the top of her salad instead of her chips, it was a sloppy mess an she was fuming.
This place is an absolute rip off, it cost over £28! And it was worth no more than £10, every bit of it from the customer service to the actual food was diabolical.
We left the store and immediately made a complaint online, 5 days later they sent a generic email saying sorry and then a seperate email with a £5 voucher 🤣😆😭
We traveled 30 mins to this store what a waste of fuel, our kebab shop is a stone throw away.
Save yourself the stress, money and time an Go to your local kebab house, do not waste your time with this establishment they don't...
Read moreShame. Great brand, very poor high management. I came back again @19.15 after morning disaster, with hope to get good food. On the door nice and polite waitress informed me that I can't go inside as it is locked for 30min for staff only. I have seen 3 occupied table by customers having food (one was waiting for food). When I asked to speak with manager wihsing to clear out morning situation, he looked at me from behind counter then turn around with giving funny face expression. (This was senior franchise manager). Base on his poor behaviour, I decided to walk in inside in to counter where he stood. Imidietly he send girl, which politely introduced herself as restaurant manager. I received explanation why they can't serve me now, which was fine as other customer was waiting inside 1h for food (just 3 tables, no online orders). BUT..... here started bad thing!!. I had hope that I will receive as mimimum from GDK money refund for not served morning order. Apart apologies nothing happened. I walked away few steps then I back and suggested that to keep good face of brand they should treat customers wit better respect. Senior Franchise Manager was 1meter away from me, fully hearing conversation and instead to clear situation he was pretending that he not exist and not react at all. I just been told that my face is well remembered now and they will speak with me next time and appologized again. GUYS just to let you know I'm going raise this ignorance with Mr. Imrann team. I understand that you just started and staff need training whis is normal, but in Europe brand has much better customer focus policy executed. Smelt the foodbasnwe walked passed and decided to have another meal today. Sign on the door stating no chicken, not great but plenty ofbother choice.... went in anyway. Chose 2 meals with donner rice and salad, trying to be healthy... order sorted, 23.67 or there abouts. Sat down, and waited... 2 mins later... a little lass came over so sorry we have no rice and didnt know that the machine didnt say no rice. What would you like to do... chose to have a refund.. so we could eat elsewhere... that was fine. Until after it had been processed they then informed me it will be 3 to 5 working days to refund the money.... no people in the shop, no food available really, and not great service. Last chance saloon... which is a shame as it looks great. Is it st helens that isnt up to standard? Maybe send the managers from elsewhere to sort this out???
First review.... Great food, very tasty, however it is pricey for what it is. O.G. Kebab, chips and Coke zero can. Nacho kebab, chips & Coke zero can, plus nacho cheese bites= £24 20 minute wait for food to process, and only 3 other people In the shop. Many orders availing via deliveroo which keep them busy. Run by young staff, and more organisation eeded to make it work slick! But food definitely worth a 2nd visit. Just don't...
