I like The Nelson and surrounding and service is mostly very good. Went on Thursday and decided to try the Lasagne, I was quite dissapointed with the quality and presentation, it was in a bowl swimming with far too much cheese, microwaved as it was stuck to the sides of the bowl and the ingredients were very very poor, it was more like a bowl of mushy pasta, there was 2 thin slices of garlic bread and a measly amount of salad, my total bill with drinks for 2 was just under £17 which was very poor value for what was received. Got there early evening and was absolutely packed with people watching sport over the loudspeakers and not one table to sit at. When the starter finally came it was 3 chicken gougons and a small amount of salad. Main course was a slice of turkey, a slice of gammon, 2 potatoes (supposedly roasted?)
