Good Burgers — Restaurant in St Helens

Like many, I've followed the newpaper articles and wished this venture well. The shop looks amazing, and is well staffed. Unfortunately, my overall experience was poor. Youth's harassing customers as they enter the shop demanding money and breaking and hurling market stalls poles - careful of your car getting damaged!!! Then, entering the shop bartering and begging. No explanation what "GB sauce" actually is, and cash payments only👀. My burger, fries and onion rings were cold upon leaving the shop. I genuinely was prepared to over look this as I could heat them up at home - but what if I wasn't going home?. When I got home there was only Pickle on the burger. I asked for salad, and rang back to check if I'd received the wrong order. I was told no. I asked what "a salad" included, as pickle, lettuce, tomatoe and onion is surely the standard?. Was told lettuce and pickle. I explained there was no lettuce, only pickle. I was TOLD there was lettuce. There wasn't. When I explained there really wasn't, he said he'd "talk to the boys", followed by silence on the line. No apology. No redress. This model of customer care is unsustainable for a successful business. Took a chance on a Friday night and picked up a Boss box, which included a drink, cheesy curly fries, two chicken tenders, and two onion rings and a double smash burger.

The burger was a good size, the patties were tasty and a great quality. I was a little surprised it had a touch of spice, but not disappointed. A really really good burger. I’d have to go into Liverpool or Manchester to beat it so to be able to get something like this so local is a real treat.

The curly fries were fresh, tasty, and the cheese was delicious too. The perfect combo.

The chicken tenders were cooked nicely and spiced just right.

Onion rings were just ok, but not bad.

I also got a strawberry milkshake. Now I’ll say this; they’re not cheap or big but I think it was easily the best milkshake I’ve ever had, and it kinda stole the show. Just amazing. A recommended...

Got 1 original smash meal, 2 Stack burger meals and a portion of Spicy wings.. £40

Full of flavour also not to thin on the smash burgers very juicy and meaty.

Value for money considering its 100% angus beef.

Please dont compare it to the frozen tesco burgers as its nothing like it believe me when i say this there is no takeaway in this area serving this quality of food.

I love my food and dont mind paying £40 or more when its fresh and full of flavour P.S the lads gave a couple of milkshakes on the house too. 😋

All in all Cant fault it at all great customer service and great food and a fantastic experiance.

They do deliveries now too if anyone orders with them over the phone or online.

Burgers 10/10 Wings 8/10 (Too spicy 😂) Milkshakes 9/10 (Need bigger straws lads)
