Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Stafford

Costa Coffee is our favourite place for a snack and a drink & they don't just do coffee there hot cup of chocolate is really nice we first when we had a dog and they opened up to allow dogs in what great idea and the dog loved it too because it meant we could get out of the bad weather he got to have a lie down and a rest and we got to have a lovely cup of coffee and a nice piece of cake and we could sit there until the weather improved knowing he would behave better than most Children, the reason for putting all this down is because we lost our best friend and Costa Coffee whent a long way to helping him really enjoy the last 3 or 4 Years that bit better and we can't thank you enough and we will always promote Costa Coffee, Thank you from us and our Chip who we...

Unfortunately they seemed to be short staffed, although there were 4 staff in total, only 2 were serving. We therefore queued for around 25 mins for a takeaway drink. I would have left, but I had promised my children a drink as a treat after their walk. The two hot drinks were made first, so by the time the cold ones were done, the hot ones were luke warm at best. No cinnamon for the chai latte, my husband said his frostini was not as good as usual. Overall, quite disappointing. Won't be returning in the bear future. I am normally the type of person who will raise my issues at the time, but I honestly did not feel there was any point. Customer service was pretty poor overall anyway. I like the location of this Costa and the coffee is fine . However I visited today with my very small dog and carried her to the counter to order a coffee . I was greeted with an order not to put her down on the floor while I tried to struggle to get my purse from my handbag . I was then told I would have to have a takeaway cup and take it outside . Both these instructions were given in an abrupt and unwelcoming way and it was clear we were not welcome . I had no intention of putting her on the floor or sitting inside as it was a lovely day outside , but was surprised by their unwelcoming attitude .
