Morrisons Cafe — Restaurant in Stafford

Really nice cafe, excellent service, very clean, food arrived quickly and was lovely. Fresh bright atmosphere. Great to have fresh tomato not tinned on the Breakfast. All staff were really pleasant and helpful. The price is very reasonable, too. Will come again. The cakes were fresh and delicious too. Came back and had Sunday dinner yesterday, really nice and reasonable price. Have been back today, dont know whats happened but ordered the gammon Sunday roast, everything was overcooked, gammon was tough and hard, parsnips and carrots overcooked, mash wasnt fresh as had formed a skin over, cauliflower cheese, yorkshire pudding and potatoe were cold. I couldn't eat it, my husband ordered the chicken Sunday roast which was the same. I had to buy a pie from inside the supermarket to put in the oven at home. I wont chance this again. Have altered my star rating only given a 2 star for the staff service or would have given 1star. Unfortunately I was upset about it so forgot...

This is not based on the cafe but the store itself which has been revamped all i can say is i wont be going again. They have pushed the isles together so made it alot narrower the isles are way too long taken away a central passageway when you get to the tills there is no room and on a busy day i was there no room to move not enough staff on the tills also i found the place very claustrophobic what used to be a really nice small town supermarket has been changed...

Noticed they were on Uber eats, I placed an order around 10:30am, 2 hours later at 12:30pm I was still waiting.. I then received a notification through the Uber app at 12:40pm that they cancelled my order? I waited over 2 hours for absolutely nothing, with no communication from the cafe itself to apologise which shows a lack of customer service.
