Greggs — Restaurant in Stevenage

First time I have used this one today 13/12/24 approx 06:55 as normally use the town centre one waited for about 15 mins while Lewis served the 3 customers in front off me he seemed to be on he’s own with only one guy doing the rolls in the fridge although I did see one girl walk in from outside who had a Greggs top on have a look about but then she went back and sat in her car on her phone and vape… well after finally getting served I noticed there’s no sweetener in the tray. First Greggs I been to without sweetener but Lewis re assured me that it’s fine being type 2 diabetic that I can just have sugar or go around the store to find some myself.. The coffee was nice and after having to go to the counter and ask the Asda worker he kindly found my sweetener. 2 times I have been in here during the week at 8am. It shows it opening at 6am but both times I've tried to pick up breakfast they have said they don't open until 830 and even then no hot food available, just sandwiches and sweets. A number of people were pointing out to them that this is a bakery and not very acceptable. The staff came across as, 'not my problem'. Extremely disappointed with my visit to Greggs. I was served stone cold food and, when I politely asked for it to be reheated, I was met with rudeness from the staff. The server even admitted the items had been sat there for over an hour and were not fresh, yet still refused to swap them, saying I had already touched them. The food was completely inedible, and the customer service was shocking. Absolutely not what you’d expect...
