Onions, onions and more onions! Pickle tray - mint sauce was flourescent green, never seen anything like it! Onions were redder than tomatoes. Seriously, how much colourant do you need to use. I also thought there was a strange smell from the pickles which left a distasteful aftertaste. Ordered chicken Shahlik, which was very salty, small amounts of chicken, again, too many onions. The curry sauce also full of onion..... What's with all of the onions, I hear you cry! When asked how our food was we politely gave our feedback, was little response from the elderly gentleman who we found to be rather arrogant and indifferent. A younger member of staff spoke to us, of which I asked if he would eat what we had been served.... Neither confirmed nor denied so take what you will from that one! My boyfriend and I went here for the first time hoping for a great experience as the establishment has changed hands 3 times since we moved to Heaton Moor. The food was fine, however I’d keep an eye on the bill. When our bill arrived one of the items on it was called a BK and we were charged £7.50 for it. When asking the waitress what a BK was she said “Beer / drinks” - the establishment has a bring your own beer policy and the only drink we’d ordered was a Diet Coke. I explained this to the waitress, she went away and amended the bill, but instead of charging me £7.50 for my Diet Coke I was now being charged £5.50 for my Diet Coke. visited with family for a 50th birthday, 6 people and all of us displeased with the service we were given and the quality of food we recieved. currys tasted bland and very little meat in them to say they were nearly £17 some of them, 4 prawns in curry costing £17 isnt acceptable. and a sashlik with 4 pieces of meat on also. bill totaling £125 and all displeased, wont be returning as its a shame because we went previously and enjoyed it. servers were very rude and didnt want us to order starters and drinks seperate and made us wait until everybody had decided all there choices so we then felt rushed. shame really as i looked forward to having a curry at what I orignally though was a...
