That Pizza Place — Restaurant in Stockport

How disappointing. Have heard so many good things about this place. On a whim decided to try it tonight on way home. When we got there discovered it was 2-4-1 Monday. Perfect. But then we were told it was an hour wait due to it being Monday. No problem we live close only take me 5 mins to pop back. I had the double up. Wife had the black pepper roast beef. Went back and they were ready sat on the oven. Back home they were lukewarm at best. The pizzas were cardboard thin and lifeless. The toppings were sparse. God knows what the normal was like if that was the double. The look of it reminded me of a Dr. Oetker pizza (but with less toppings) The beef was no better. The best takeaway pizza around! This is our go to takeaway place for a weekend treat. The pizzas are delicious - thin, crispy base with loads of toppings. There is a great selection to choose from - my favourite is the Mediterranean with artichokes, olives, peppers, red onions etc but the kids love the spicy, meaty options too. The garlic bread is delicious and the potato wedges are extremely moreish. The family meal deals are excellent value too. Masoud and the rest of the staff are so lovely. First time ordering. Highly rated and so I thought it would be worth the extra few minutes drive.

I got The Whole Hog... in a word - Divine. You expect with so many ingredients a sloppy mess, but this was anything but. Fresh ingredients on a fresh crispy base. All perfectly cooked and was just coming out of the oven right as I arrived :-)
