I walked in and luckily managed to get a table! (Not the biggest place so definitely recommend booking)

I ordered the 'Pontiac Bandit' burger and the dough balls.

The burger was amazing (2 beef patties, cheese, bacon, peanut butter, chilli jam). The meat was cooked perfectly. It was juicy and seasoned perfectly, and had a really lovely meaty taste. It was my first time having peanut butter in a burger but it actually went perfectly with the meat and everything else in the burger. (Was a great idea to put the peanut burger at the bottom, and the homemade chilli jam on the top) The bun held together well, and there was plenty of cheese and bacon.

The dough balls (big portion!) were also amazing. They were all cooked perfectly, and sitting in plenty of garlic sauce and butter, and were lovely and soft and doughy inside.

Service was also excellent. Very efficient and polite.

It's not the cheapest burger (should maybe come with a small portion of fries for that price?) However, it was an amazing burger and I will definitely be back in future for another!

UPDATE July 2025: Came again, had the same amazing burger! Also got a piece of the Crunchy Cookie pie to take away which we are later in the evening. Good size, great cookie dough, melty chocolate and drizzled with chocolate sauce. We enjoyed...

I've been here 5 or 6 times now, but hadn't been since they moved back to Hazel Grove. When I saw that this week's special was Glazed and Confused, in celebration of National Doughnut Week, I couldn't put off visiting again any longer.

I know how many will initially react to the thought of a beef and bacon sandwich between two iced ring doughnuts, but that's what really drew me to it. This just had to work, otherwise they wouldn't be selling it, right?

My verdict?

This is the best burger that I have ever had. It blows anything I've tried in the past well out of the water. I was pleased to hear that it's something that they do from time to time, and I can't wait to try it again.

I followed it up with the cheesecake special, which today was custard cream. This also blew me away. I've never tasted custard so good.

I live 25 miles from The Bun and Bones Club. It's well worth the 50-mile round trip.

Give it a try.

The only thing I can really recommend is to have the special. It's all I've ever tried. See their Insta page for the latest special.

Taken me way too long to visit! I've been salivating over the Instagram account for B&B for ages and I finally got myself over to the gaff. It totally lived up to the build up! They've had many tempting weekly specials along the way but I set my sights on the 'Roadhouse'. Every single bite was incredible! The pulled pork was ELITE, amazing flavour from the marinade and it was spilling out the sides. Paired with a sweet BBQ sauce and crunchy slaw to make a proper messy burger which is just how I like it! The smash patties were superb as well, juicy and crisp on edges. All housed in a soft (but firm) potato bun. A thing of beauty!

The sweet potato fries tasty Burnt really and we're fairly average. Big portion though. Back to the positives! The garlic & parmesan boneless chicken wings were delicious! There was at least 2 breasts worth so brilliant value. Although a couple of pieces were quite dry but the rest were delightful. The parmesan coating was loaded on and the pieces were crisp.

Overall it was excellent value for some bangin scran! The staff were smiling and provided efficient service. Definitely somewhere I'll be...
