The Bubble Room — Restaurant in Stockport

Recently nipped into the bubble room, I’ve been many a times before but felt like leaving a review this time. I was out with friends when I spoke to my boyfriend on the phone saying our breast fed baby had ran out of milk and was very upset, my friends had booked a taxi ready for us to go to another place but I needed to head the other way, as soon as I booked an Uber my phone died and I had no charger on me I couldn’t see if it was coming or not. A little frantic after hearing my baby screaming down the phone I went back in and while they were getting for a 50th birthday party )so we’re super busy) I asked the member of staff (I’m assuming manager) if he had a charger I could use to see if my taxi was coming. He didn’t have one but went upstairs to check with the chefs and brought it down.

My friends had gone in the taxi to another location so the member of staff regularly checked in with me until my taxi arrived! In this day and age it’s quite nerve wracking being in a bar on your own especially as a new (ish) mum so it was really reassuring that the staff would take care of you & ensure you are...

Went on the Wednesday Steak night on this occasion. The staff were all great, excellent customer service which makes the experience. I had the Ramen starter which was the special, my sister had the pate. Both really good. We had the sirloin steaks with sweet potato fries, one blue cheese snd one peppercorn sauce. Steaks cooked as requested, plenty of fries and sauces good. The presentation would be enhanced by the addition of a little green garnish such as watercress or even half a cooked tomato. Buttered greens didn’t appeal to us though they were an optional extra. The house red wine was very drinkable but what made the night was the welcome and banter...

WHAT fantastic Staff! Without exception. Friendly, charming, helpful & respectful EVERY time I've been for a drink. They bend over backwards to treat everyone as a truly valued customer. Plus, a great range of lagers all at reasonable prices - for such a warm, vibrant and welcoming, clean, inviting venue. Top drawer! No WONDER Phil Foden & Joe Hart choose to frequent The Bubble Room.
