Valentino’s Italian is a hidden gem that delivers big flavours and even bigger comfort. From the moment the garlic pizza bread landed on the table—golden, warm, and unapologetically garlicky—I knew I was in for a treat. It was the perfect start: crisp edges, fluffy centre, and that unmistakable, fragrant hit of garlic that danced on the palate like a Roman holiday.

The calzone? Bellissimo! A glorious crescent of carby, cheesy goodness, bursting with rich tomato sauce and savoury fillings. It arrived like a gift-wrapped surprise—hot, hearty, and handcrafted with love. Every bite was a warm hug for the soul.

And just when I thought the meal couldn’t possibly hit a higher note… enter: the chocolate cake with ice cream. Oh. My. Word. Decadent, dark, and divinely gooey, this dessert could seduce the strictest dieter. Paired with smooth, velvety vanilla ice cream—it was the kind of finish that deserves its own encore.

Service was friendly, warm, and relaxed—just like you’d hope from a true Italian dining experience. A place where carbs are king, calories don’t count, and every meal feels like a celebration.

Very very poor will not be returning here!, went here with the missus last month for the first time we were both unhappy with the food quality. Cost me £80 for food I could of cooked better myself at home, we ordered garlic bread with cheese and a prawn starter with tomato based sauce. The garlic bread was bland and the prawn starter was made with frozen prawns with a weak sauce that tasted like the premade ones you buy from the supermarket. The missus ordered salmon main which was ok and I ordered fillet steak which was shocking it was a bland unseasoned fatty cut with a bucket load of peppercorn sauce already pourer all over my meal.. we didn't bother ordering desserts for obvious reasons. The rose wine was disgusting also and tasted like all inclusive holiday wine.. we didn't complain we simply won't be returning here in the future I would advice to save your money and...

We have been dining here for over 20 years,the food is just beautiful,the garlic bread and the pork ribs starters are just delicious,we either have the chicken or the steak,both are to die for..We've never tried the pasta or the pizza's..As far as I'm concerned they are foods you can cook at home. The choice of wine isn't extensive but the wines they stock are all nice (I've had them all) ..The deserts are lovely too but im quite boring and always have the tiramisu,my wife is a little more adventurous and she said all the deserts are as lovely.

The service is excellent too and they always have more than enough staff on for you not to be kept waiting long for anything.They are very pretty and charming too ☺.

I would recommend booking (even in the week) as this is alway a busy...
