Updated review, previously 5 stars. I was deciding what to do after today’s visit but I have come to the decision to post this as it’s very much upset me. I visited today with my 5 month old baby and husband. Whilst we were there my son was babbling and didn’t want to stay in his pram so my husband stood up with him. We then heard the staff talking about how much babies crying in the cafe annoyed them and they wished they could just put headphones in. I have paraphrased what was rather a lengthy conversation of which we heard every word. What made this worse was that the conversation was so obviously sparked by our baby, being the only one in the cafe. My husband and I don’t love hearing our child cry either but I do think it’s very rude to make such a statement that customers can hear. Taking babies out of the house can be stressful for new parents and things like this can cause more harm and upset than perhaps intended. We paid up and left and once outside we both said we would never go back as it made us both feel very uncomfortable. Previous review below: I’ve visited twice now and both times have been a lovely experience. Recently I tried the Turkish Salad and it was one of the nicest salads I’ve had in a long time, I have attached a picture to show it off. Fantastic portion size as well. The coffee here is also one of my favourites in the village. Lovely cafe and it’s quickly becoming one of my favourites.

Another new café option recently opened in the area. Now almost spoilt for choice at breakfast / brunch / lunch. ( sadly still miss Mathers in Gatley.) Flic took me there for brunch. Good americano (£2.90) followed by the small breakfast. (£9.25) Boss had a cheese and ham panini. (£9.45) All enjoyed the food. Nice interior in what was a ladies hair salon for many years. Seems to have got off to a good start.

A few of us went for lunch to take back to the office. I had the Turkish sausage baguette and it was delicious. Price seems quite reasonable for the quality so I would go back again. Certainly better value and quality than going to Greggs or Subway! The sandwich came with chips and salad which was average but what you would expect at this price point and the fact it is a casual cafe and not a restaurant.

Atmosphere inside the cafe looked nice and it was pretty busy.

The lady who served us was nice and polite and the food was served quickly and efficiently so no...

The most beautiful cafe do you know why? The staff, they are so attentive to your needs and will cater for whatever, I watch in silence as I’m a regular customer and the young lad who works there is an absolute delight, if you’re the owner of this cafe and reading this, the young lad who works there is impeccable, I own a restaurant in Chorlton on Barlow Moor Road and I know what exceptional service looks like when I see it, this lad cares and it’s great to see. Quick service,...
