Al Helal — Restaurant in Stoke-on-Trent

Used to use this curry house when i lived in dresden it was by far the best around ..so tonight we decided to try here again n wish i hadn't bothered i may aswell of thrown 42quid down the drain ...firstly items were missing from the order so had to ring up to be told 20min wait as no drivers (altho arrived within 10mins) chips were stone cold ...currys ...chicken makhani was the worst ive ever tasted in my life it was absolute disgusting and had a strong sour taste..not even luke warm chicken balti was horrendous .... chicken korma the same ... rice was stone cold n tasteless all food was cold i literally can't believe the change in standards ....NEVER AGAIN !!!! and just to clarify this is my first ever poor review im not a moaner but only place that was fit for was half way up the garden and straight...

Ordered our takeaway as usual. Went to collect and they'd given it away to someone else. The person was driving off. They ran up the road banging on the van. Brought our takeaway back and put it in another bag. (Like that will make a difference) I said I would not be accepting the recycled food as we don't know what the guy had done to it in the time he had it. They thought it was ok and refused to recook the food. I walked out.

At a time when covid is still present you would have thought common sense would prevail. Mistakes happen but that's not how it should be handled. They've now lost a regular customer. Poor publicity and a possible visit from health and safety. Well done. Wonder how often this happens and what happened...

Been using this place for many years I highly recommend it it's absolutely lovely Would recommend everyone to give it a try Me and my 2 uncles had a delivery tonight brilliant price for 3 of us Currys nan rice all spot on and very very tasty not bad prices either delivery driver was very pleasant will be using again soon If you haven't tried it you definitely need to you get quite a lot for your money I would say this is the best Indian takeaway in Stoke on Trent to be honest also like how the Currys aren't coated in oil and you get a generous amount of meat, keep up the good work lads your all excellent, love and respect.
