The Mountain peak Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Stoke-on-Trent

Went to the restaurant last night was greeted when coming in by the very friendly staff taken to our seats. The building was very cold I couldn’t even take my coat off and lots of people around me were saying the same thing. We did wait over an hour for our food to arrive but the staff were very apologetic but it was worth the wait and if it was so cold in there we wouldn’t of even noticed it was so long. Even with the teething problems I have to say the main reason we were there “The Food “ was amazing Mountain peck Pot was full of flavour the Chicken tikka masala very traditional and I have to say we will be going back soon and would highly recommend. Booked with friends. One couple in when we arrived. Filled quickly and they were not expecting the numbers but still accepted walk ins. We ordered poppadoms and mains. Poppadoms arrived 40 minutes later after all other tables had been served. Waited for mains and again all other tables served. Complained a couple of times. A server then came to the table after a further 40 minutes and said it was due to our choice of starter. Since we hadn't ordered starters we simply left. We are huge fans of their other restaurant Namaste but this fantastic restaurant offers a more relaxed dining experience with an alternative grill menu (you can request a Namaste dish if like my daughter you cannot get enough of Namaste's menu).
