Oatcakes generally are nice, but I bought a pack the other day and after opening them I found one of them mouldy. The best before date was the day of purchase and opening. The day after they were covered in mould. The experience has left me now avoiding the oatcakes from this shop.

The food is okay, and the lady who served me was quite pleasant. I could have walked out without paying, as she didn't notice. She was chatting with her friend, though, so I forgave her. Anyway, I did own up to not paying, and she thanked me for that. Some people would have just walked out. 😆 The kitchen could do with a makeover from what I saw. It's not the best-looking place, but it's local, and I believe in supporting local small businesses as much...

Very friendly staff always chat to customers carnt do enough to help with what food you fancy nothing to much trouble very clean food delicious home made pies and salad boxes have so much more food on now and phil the owner does all his own oatcakes & Piklets on the premises and they have won 2 awards well deserved guys your hard work has payed off my son loves the place he has Autism and they cater...

£9.45 for 3 Oatcakes... Bacon, Chees and Tomatoes - so no huge extravagance... Oatcakes were sloppy and greasy, tasted like paper plate or the bag they came in, not sure which but could taste whatever they'd come in more than the Oatcakes themselves. Only used them as they're the only place open on a Monday locally, never again. Absolute rip off for sloppy...
