A bit of late review, but we had the pleasure of dining at the Kismat Restaurant in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, and I must say, it was a delightful culinary experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, we were delightfully greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the tone for the meal ahead.
The menu at the Kismat Restaurant offers a tantalizing array of options, each promising a unique blend of flavours. We left it to the owner to decide for us who ordered a mix of their specialities dishes, and we were not disappointed at all. The attention to detail and the use of fresh, quality ingredients truly shone through in every dish.
The highlight of the meal for me was undoubtedly the "Lamb Green Masala", a perfectly cooked meats, accompanied by a green pastes, all seasoned to perfection. The flavours danced on my palate, creating a harmonious symphony of tastes that left me craving for more. Although we shared all the other dishes and equally all of these dishes were top notch 👌.
What sets the Kismat Restaurant apart is their commitment to authenticity. The dishes reflect the rich heritage of the cuisine, no wonder why they claimed to be the pioneer in this field, and the chefs' dedication to maintaining traditional cooking techniques is evident in every bite. The flavours transported me to India, and I appreciated the effort taken to deliver an authentic experience.
Service at the Kismat Restaurant was impeccable. The staff was friendly, attentive, and ready to answer any questions about the menu. They also ensured that the food was served promptly and at the right temperature, adding to the overall enjoyment of the meal.

Read moreOrdered a takeaway. Was delivered quickly which was good. Our Scampi starter was dreadful, mushy grey fish with lumps of fat in it in some kind of spicy breadcrumbs, completely different to the really nice scampi they had last time we ordered. Portion of chips was really greasy. Poppadoms were also soggy. Curry wasn't very warm either, unlike previous orders. When we rang to complain the person answering the phone was quite rude. However the driver who delivered the food was very pleasant and friendly!
Shame as previous orders from here have been nice, and they couldn't have been more helpful last time we had an issue...

To be told delivery man is on our street trying to find address, I said surely the food will be stone cold, they insisted it will be fine and offered me a bottle of cheap wine to try to compensate me. Returned home to be greeted by stone cold food. Shocking !!!!! Zero stars!!!! Told the guy at the restaurant at least keep the phone on instead of ignoring...
