The Dirty Diner — Restaurant in Stoke-on-Trent

ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING! I hate to discredit any business but it was very poor, especially a £42 takeaway for two people!!

Let me bullet point it for you, it will save a lot of time: nearly 2 hours later and £42 down, it arrives. the 'chicken tacos' are merely a piece of SF chicken on a small plain torilla wrap with a bit of lettuce chips loaded with chicken tikka massala. Very bland and hardly any chicken or massala. Instead they put a load of condiment sauce on to make it look better, £6 for them bad boys!! the chilli cheese dog states it has a bratwurst, instead what you get is a tiny cheap Frankfurter out a jar that only fills literally half of the bread roll. The chilli sauce was non existent and instead just topped with grated cheese and these terrible shop bought onion bits. the £6 wings, not crispy, no outer batter, small and they are just smothered in a bottle sauce. The blue cheese sauce you get with the wings and the chicken tenders is in fact just MAYONNAISE!!

The fact that this is a genuine review and there are many reviews that have given 3 stars or above is what proves to myself that I can't trust a company solely on reviews. If I could give zero stars I would. The food is absolutely nothing like the pictures. People are being scammed by their rubbish and the worst part is that some people think it's great food!! If it was cheap I'd brush it off and move on, but given their extortionate prices for utter tosh food is shocking.

Feel free to make your own judgement. But for now, I won't ever be ordering or recommending this...

If I was rating on food alone I'd give 5 stars but the service we've had hasn't been great. The first time we ordered we picked up the food and everything was great. The 2nd time we ordered for delivery and after an hour I called just for an update about the food. I was told it hasn't even been started and was about to be done and would be another 20 minutes. After the 1hr 25 mins we get our food but the order is wrong. The burger has no onions and after paying for 2 sets of loaded fries we were just given plain fries. I call back and ask for the correct fries which he says will be rushed out. After 25 minutes our burgers were cold from waiting and the fries still hadnt arrived so we called to get a refund for them and were told we'd get the refund but they were still delivering them and they were out for delivery. We finally got the fries after 42 minutes, so it took over 2 hours to get the correct order. Food is great, service and wait time are...

This was our first time ordering from Dirty Diner and we were really looking forward to our meals after seeing their amazing pictures on Instagram and Facebook but we were left bitterly disappointed. My first gripe was our 2 hour & 40 minute wait. Now I understand takeaways are busy over the weekend, but after being in business for just over 2 years now, you'd think they'd have timings mastered! When we finally had our food, we were met with a portion of chips missing and luke warm food and soggy burger buns - maybe due to how long we had to wait. But at this point we were too hungry to care and ate it anyway. The food itself, even though luke warm & soggy was nice tasting and I can only assume that if it had been fresh would of been absolutely amazing, but I'll probably never find this out as I definitely don't want to be waiting these extreme...
