Lokanta Kebab House ( Turkish Street Food ) — Restaurant in Stoke-on-Trent

Thought I’d give this one a try and unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be returning which is a shame. I ordered the large mixed shawarma and added a few notes to it. Just eat didn’t give an option for salad so I made a note to replace rice with salad in addition to adding garlic mayo and requesting only a small amount of chips. I know they read this message as I did receive a salad instead of rice, however, there was no inclusion of garlic mayo which has made the meal very dry. If they didn’t have it, that’s fine, but they should have called me to enquire as to what I’d like instead. Lastly, I’m not sure whether they took a front to me requesting only a small volume of chips as I don’t really like them in general.. but what I received can only be described as a mound of chips with less than a handful of meat.. was really dissatisfied and disappointed given what little meat I did receive was really nice! I essentially paid £9 for just a portion of chips, really bad value for money, sadly. Don't bother ordering food from there. Waited 1.5 hours for the food. When arrived the food was only warm and not hot. Also a garlic bread was missing from the order. Called the restaurant straight away and informed them about the missing item. They said they will send it straight away. Waited another 40 minutes for it and still didn't receive it. Called the restaurant again to cancel it and request the refund. Woman who answered the phone was extremely rude and said she will simply not cancel the order as the garlic bread is already in the oven (over 2 hoyrs after ordering). I informed her I don't want it and want to cancel the order - she passed the phone to some macho man who said I can't cancel my order as it's been only 30 mins since I've ordered it :D when I told him it's been more than 2 hours he proceeded to call me a lier and refused to refund the money. Absolutely shocking service and would definitely not recommend. Don't waste your money and time. It takes them 2 hours to deliver the food on Monday evening. Imagine what is it like on busy Friday...

I’ve dined in at Lokata in the past and received great service and delicious food. I was really excited to order it in for my family who had not previously visited. We ordered a Donner Kebab and Mix Kebab, both stated on the menu that they came with chips, naan and rice as expected. When they arrived it was just 2 boxes of meat and chips with no breads, rice or salad items. We rang up to ask about the mix up and they stated that the menu on their website was an old menu and you had to request the breads. This was not mentioned anywhere on their site, it clearly said that they came with bread. The gentleman on the phone didn’t offer to fix this by sending us breads or apologise for the mix up.
