The most awkward sandwich, disappointing service. The food was okay, but the experience left a sour note. I asked for a sandwich, and the lady looked at me as if I were putting her out. Then someone jumped the queue, and instead of addressing it, the staff member asked the person next to them if they were together dismissing me as if I wasn't there... Pizzas are really nice here but the toasties, pasties and baps arent that nice. Toasties are sometimes burnt, and for me has way too much cheese (a huge chunk of cheese was sticking out and it was horrible). The pasties are always crunchy which is really messy (I know they are usually messy but when they are dry and crunchy it makes a lot more mess) usually tastes burnt. Called in today for first time. Fresh hot Cheese & Onion Pasty and a Ham Salad Bap. Not sure the bap was worth the £3 tbh just not much filling and too much doughy bap. Pasty was spot on.
