Greggs — Restaurant in Sunderland

The food is Gregg's, what's not to like? The Staff are welcoming and helpful. The never sem to stand still and this is the first time I've seen a Greggs Vacuum Cleaner and it being used. (Photo below)There is always somebody cleaning things down. To me this is a brand new Gregg's I "discovered" riding through Pallion shops on the way to Chester Road. It turns out this Gregg's has been here for three years. You know what to expect in Greggs and most know exactly what they want. The new Mac & Cheese is fantastic but pricey at a close to a fiver. So the menu is forever changing. Or updating. Pallion shopping precinct is a hive of activity, never still. It's great for people watching. I've taken some photos to show the size of this Gregg's as it is the biggest I've been in. If you come on the bus, then fine it stops outside the Bakery. Or you can hide your car behind the cottages that have been converted into the shop front of...

Ok place for food, prices are a tad high.

Also, I've noticed that every Gregg's I go into now seem to refuse to make any more pizzas after a certain time, and it's not because they've ran out of ingredients either.

It's simply because they have to clean the ovens, and they refuse to make any more close to 2 hours before closing, so bear that in mind if you want any pizzas an hour or two before they close.

Was disappointed today some manager from the head office of Greg's talking to the staff on the table and the queue getting bigger because there was only two people serving one doing the delivery order and checking the oven and only one serving the queue and another thing wasn't there a wifi to connect to and weren't toilet rolls...
