Peking Express — Restaurant in Sunderland

I always come back here as I do like the food I order but my god did I have a terrible encounter tonight with my order and I am posting this on every site I can as everyone needs to no how rude these people are and when they get your order wrong, they don't really help you out for their mistakes....

I ordered food and a drink of pepsi and in the notes I stated "Pepsi or fanta, NO coke" (I later found out of the Just Eat team that there was a glitch and was not sent) but when my order arrived I was given coke and I asked the delivery driver (who was very kind) said to ring the shop and they will sort it... so I rang up and the guy on the phone had such an attitude with me and said that he wouldn't change my drink (I can't stand coke) and he put the phone down on me so I rang back up to him giving me more of an attitude and when I asked him to change it, he refused and said it was my fault that I got coke and he will not change it. If this place does not sell Pepsi then they should not have it on their menu... this is not the first encounter I have had with them... I ordered chicken balls rice and chips before and cutting into my last chicken ball I found a prawn in with the chicken and when I rang them about that they also did nothing to help me but offered me a free bag of prawn crackers... it's a good job I'm not allergic to prawns or that matter would of been worse... lovely food from this place but absolutely terrible service from the guy behind the counter... certainly will not be ordering from there again... was not...

Adequate. After eating here and leaving a bad review (which was undoubtedly just), my Fiancée was contacted by the owner, and we were fully refunded AND had a replacement meal sent out purely through the good will of the staff.

The second time round, the food was pretty good. The salt and pepper chicken was still a little bland, but the ribs and soup we're both very good in my opinion. Portion size was good, and food arrived hot also.

I have boosted my rating from 1/5 to 3/5, as the food I received today was a real step up from the food I received two days ago - but still leaves some to be desired.

Overall, I could see myself ordering...

The worst experience I’ve ever had at restaurant I liked, I ordered deep-fried King all the time and it came in the box was only five instead of 10. I called the restaurant and I explained it to them and they said they will send someone with a new order and I called them back and they had the audacity to tell me that the chef put 10 in each box when I was looking at five west customer experience and this is the last time 🤬🤬ordering from them, I have been ordering from them for the past three years with no complaint but the first complaint they call me the liar after I spent my money at the restaurant don’t...
