Firstly, I have to commend the customer service — it was excellent and the staff were very friendly, which I genuinely appreciated. The Karak chai and dessert were also enjoyable.

However, I was extremely disappointed with the rest of the food. The samosa chaat was served cold, the chicken biryani was completely lacking in flavour, and the desi breakfast was also cold. While the omelette was decent, the chana that came with it was bland and far from authentic.

To make matters worse, it was clear that all the food had been reheated in a microwave — something I really didn’t expect given the premium prices. For £35, I expected fresh, flavorful, and properly prepared dishes. Unfortunately, this meal felt like a complete letdown.

We had Karak chai — my husband said it’s the best he’s ever tasted in his life! I had the pink tea and it was absolutely amazing, honestly the best I’ve ever had too.

We ordered the butter chicken with coloured rice and the chicken Caesar salad — wow! The salad was incredible, probably the best I’ve ever had. I asked for it to be spicy and they went above and beyond. The chicken was crunchy, the sauce was creamy, and the flavour was perfect — with chopped chillies inside which I loved!

The butter chicken was full of flavour and the chicken was so tender it just fell apart. Even the rice was delicious enough to eat on its own. Everything was cooked perfectly and bursting with flavour.

I can’t say enough good things about this place — it’s hands-down one of my favorite spots! From the moment you walk in, you feel the warmth and heart the owners pour into everything.
