The Play Café Sunderland

We have been going to the play cafe for 3 years now and my kids love it! Great atmosphere where you can easily keep an eye on kids while enjoying a coffee or food with friends, or by yourself.

There’s a range of toys as well as a sectioned off space for younger kids and babies. There are various classes on throughout the week for all different ages.

The staff are amazing! The owner, Elodie, is so welcoming and always takes the time so speak to all of the children and get to know them - such a nice touch. All of the other girls are fab too and can’t do enough for you.

I’ve also never been to a play cafe with food as delicious as here. Proper home cooked food, scrambled eggs on sourdough, crepes. Sandwiches, soup (roast veg soup is amaze!) and plenty to eat for the kids. They also switch up the menu with French week, or American week, which is fab.

Also a great place to meet other parents and likeminded people.

Overall, we LOVE the play cafe and would highly recommend!
