We've generally had great experiences here at our local pub - the staff are usually the best thing about the place. However we came in on Christmas Eve & was served by a less than friendly lass at the bar. She took our order and all was paid for - we then had another member of staff come over & tell us that what we'd ordered and paid for wasn't available. We asked for several other items from the menu only to be told they weren't available either. To be fair this may be due to running out of things at Christmas. When we eventually found something that was available for us, we felt that they weren't particularly apologetic. Also, the first meals we ordered came with a free drink. Our new (cheaper) order didn't and we were made to then cover the cost of the drinks - which I thought was unfair when we'd made the first order in good faith. Hopefully this was just a bad day, as I said it's usually great with lovely staff.
