Friendly local boozer, unpretentious, nice folks. Shame we can't go back for a while. A bientot.

Update 06.05.2022 Quick pint, no Kronenberhg now but still a good pub when not too busy. Reduced seating area due to restaurant area growing.

Update 09.11.2022 Quiet pint at teatime, warm, nice atmosphere, good to see some of the long-term regulars in. Proper local pub this.

Update 20.01 2023 Nice to see the place thriving, popped in for a couple of drinks, collected a pizza from their restaurant to take home, delicious. Live music on Fridays.

Update 30.03.2023 Continues to be a good local pub, took a pizza home, noticed the small restaurant area was busy. Such a good place.

Not the worst experience of hotel I've ever had. It's a local friendly pub, staff are well accommodating. However the rooms are not the best at all very dated and not the cleanest. It kind of reminds me of the place you go when your partners dumped you, your down on your luck and trying to punish yourself. There was still items left in beside draws from previous guests. The TV was not connected. Shared kitchen and bathroom. Cheap and not cheerful. But 30 quid each a night not sure what else was of expected from Victoria clean room would of been...

Food was OK, pretty basic Sunday dinner. Soup tasted alright but was a too thick. It's wasn't very busy but had to wait far too long, kids waiting over an hour for their food. This was put down to some of the adults having starters but still waiting 45mins after starters with no apology isn't really acceptable. Hopefully they can speed up the service and...
