Absolutely awful birthday meal!!! I could not believe the way my friends & myself have been treated by not just the staff but by other customers giving us threats! One thing being accused of 1million & 1 different things but yet being insulted by customers in the place we had never met ever , telling us come out for a fight saying he is going to throw us all out. This made us all extremely uncomfortable since we are only 13 year old boys and girls. We was all simply lost for words as we was charged full price for all full meals when we hadn't even received two of the meals and none of us had desert yet which was claimed to be included in the young adult meal. We had been kicked out before we received two meals and before any of us had finished eating. And apparently all we had done was use inappropriate language, which we take responsibility for but we was told to stop which we did and got told that this is a family restaurant and inappropriate language is not tolerated here yet it was fine for the couple sat next to us to use the same language towards us and give out horrendous threats , staff and other people did not see anything wrong with this? I would strongly advise people not to visit here , I will sure not to be along with the many others I have...
Read moreOur family had the most wonderful dining experience at Chiquito! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for both kids and adults. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to make sure everyone was comfortable.
The menu had something for everyone, with delicious Mexican-inspired options for even the pickiest eaters. Our kids loved the cheesy quesadillas and crispy churros, while the adults were blown away by the sizzling fajitas and the perfectly seasoned tacos. The portions were generous, and everything tasted freshly prepared and packed with flavour.
What truly made the evening special was the little touches – the vibrant décor, the kid-friendly menu options, and the attentive service. The team even surprised us with a shared dessert platter that delighted everyone. It’s rare to find a place that strikes the perfect balance between being family-friendly and offering high-quality cuisine, but Chiquito nailed it.
We left with full bellies and big smiles, already planning our next visit. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable family...
Read moreChiquitos used to be my favourite place. We'd literally visit here once per week during 2016 to 2019 and it was great. Since COVID the prices have just sky rocketed and what used to cost around 40 quid (which is why we could come weekly) is now about 120. Its just not affordable any more. The past year we've been about 3 times and last time we visited on father's Day the food was good. As good as it used to be. Some of the previous visits this year it wasn't as good. But even though the food was much better this time the prices are just silly. I also think the children's menu needs more options. Our two wanted a plain burger and as the children's menu doesn't have one they said they'd make us one but then charged us the price of the loaded burger from the adult menu. Years ago the atmosphere was buzzing as more people could afford to eat here but now most tables are empty every time we go. I feel it would be better to cut your prices and fill your restaurant again, allowing families to visit more often rather than charging silly prices and restricting visits to once every...
