Oxted Desserts & Crafts — Restaurant in Tandridge

Having given the DS the benefit of the doubt after a shaky start, we went this afternoon, one adult and two teenagers. There was only one young person serving who was quite obviously overworked. She had to take orders, clear the tables and prepare the desserts and drinks. It was too much for her as there was a long wait to even get served and a long wait for the dessert. We watched someone come in with her children while she watched the sole person on duty clear tables without even an acknowledgement of her arrival let alone an apology for the delay. Further, there were some incredibly noisy young kids with indulgent parents and most businesses would have had a polite word asking their parents to quieten them down, it's an ice cream parlour not a kids' karaoke bar. Finally, the ice cream is just ice cream and not gelato, don't say it's something it isn't. This place could be brilliant without much effort, at the moment, it is wanting, which is a real shame. If it had some competition, it would either improve or shut down - please try and do just a little bit better as you could be...

I ordered for this business earlier today, what I waste of our money and time! We even pay for some extras as the waffle only comes with one topping, extra fruit and extra Bischoff drizzle ( waffle had barely 2 cut up strawberries ) the advertisement on their website really misleading the least to say I've been a dessert catfished!! Your business is not appreciated as clearly, you don't appreciate your customers...what a waste of £35!! I would have called directly to complain and request a refund but your business was shut straight after we received our order… lesson learned, never order from your...

Unbelievabley disappointment with my items. I ordered a ferero roche milkshake which was over £5, the texture was runny and 3/4 full, to be honest Mc Donald's are much better and much cheaper. The Biscoff waffle didn't look like it did in the photo, the cream was served separately but received melted, the waffle itself was nice but cold. Very very disappointing and expensive I personally wouldn't recommend, I wish I could add photos on here so you can compare...
