Daisy's Tea Room — Restaurant in Teignbridge

What a delightful cafe this place is ! From walking through the door, greated like an old friend & to top it all delicious food. The cafe was busy & we got the last 2 seats. We soon picked our choice of lunch & we were served within 10 mins. Our drink order arrived straight away. Prices were incredible to say the amount of food that arrived. It became quite clear, locals loved the place & it was good to see people arriving alone. Probably knowing they were bound to get chatting to someone there ! All staff were very pleasant. Will definitely be back when we return to the area later...

Went to celebrate my birthday today at this place and was looking forward to going as I had looked at the photos and positive reviews on their website. They are suppose to have nice friendly staff, The staff weren't welcoming or friendly. The food was badly presented. Couldn't get the cutlery right and was placed in a corner with my Family. Unacceptable. Very disappointing will not return again to celebrate my birthday at this place. I have told family members and friends that all meals were terrible. Excellent food, good prices and wonderful staff. A warm welcome greeted myself, my daughter and 3 small children. The waitress even acknowledged the need for a seat for the dolly! We were served very quickly. Dairy free spread was available and the children's lunches were well thought out. A yummy sandwich with fruit and crisps. Grapes were even sliced.
