Domino's Pizza - Newton Abbot — Restaurant in Teignbridge

I been ordering from this Domino's for the last 4 years since moving to Newton Abbot. Multiple times I have ordered as a little treat on a long week. Ordered via app, via phone and visited the branch on occasions. The app I find to be the weirdest method as.. The indicator would still be in preparation stage and we will get a knock at the door by the delivery driver. Never really pay attention to the app since. The phone manner of the staff I find to be very nice. Always had a very polite, helpful and welcoming staff member that has resolved issues, helped us along with deliveries going to wrong addresses or missing order. While I'm on the subject of wrong addresses... unfortunately 85% of the time our order always ends up in Kingsteignton. We get a call from the delivery driver saying they are outside.. In Kingsteignton. The staff are always very nice and apologetic about it, I can completely understand it. Two places in close proximity with the same street name. (Recently had a delivery driver knock on our door when we havent ordered so possibly the Kingsteignton received cold pizza). Unfortunately it means by the time it arrives with us it is cold, but not all bad, cold pizza is still good. Unfortunately we have had times when we haven't received items in our order, however they have always redelivered the missing items as well as giving us something extra, which is so lovely of them. The pizzas are always generously pack with ingredients! Never received a bad pizza from them at all. Defiantly put a lot of time and effort into their food! Sometimes Dominos is hit and miss for that, however Newton's always delivers on good pizza All be it to the wrong address at times haha. I would love to give this branch more stars as the staff has always been so lovely and really helpful, however, it just makes us more reluctant to order from Domino's when we want a nice warm pizza. As we know it has a high chance of going to the wrong address.

Food is honestly 5 star Service and...

3rd and last time ever ordering from this store. First time the pizzas looked like they had been dropped on the floor several times and had hardly any toppings. Second time one of the pizzas was perfect and the other was luke warm and dry(obviously been sat around half the day). and this time was the final straw! My partner went to collect (after they said our order was ready for collection) and they said itll be a couple of minute wait... 24 min later i get bored of waiting in the car and entered the store myself, after asking what was going on. they said they'd had to re-cook one pizza and it was going to be another 7 minutes!... my partner was not impressed that they hadn't said this to begin with as the original staff members exact words was "they'll be ready in just 2 minutes" not 31min.. but still we had come this far now what was another 7min.. a further 10min later we had to approach the desk again and ask where the pizzas were! and noticed they were placed on the side ready(no one could even be bothered to let us know this.) At this point we were not impressed and had a slight rant at their lack of customer service.. we were only offered a bad attitude as well as free cookies.. (if we wanted cookies we would have ordered cookies). What we wanted was 2 simple pizzas and now one of them pizzas had been sat around for over 40mins(didnt look very appetizing) i stated that "as they were twice the wait and one was ruined they should be at least half the price!" Then got met with even more poor attitude so they were told to keep the pizzas and we moved on to 'kfc' (which was lovely btw) ..walked back to the car that was parked behind 'Dominos'. and passed 3 members of 'Dominos' staff standing out the back enjoying a nice joint of marijuana together......

Decided to order food last night 4th September 12 at around 7.10pm Ordered online as they had emailed me with a 50% discount on pizza. Had a standard large and create your own large, chicken kickers spicy pork and garlic bread. 5 items? Not rocket science. It arrived at 8.15pm with aplogise for being late as "driver was only guy on tonight"? I immediately noticed four boxes, which to a laymen indicates four items? No, I was assured the order was complete. I even paid a tip. (1) their was only four items, Spicy pork was missing. This was all one of my diners wanted so they didnt have anything!!! (2) the create your own was a joke? It was something that had been sat around on display all day but was close enough to my order they assumed I wouldnt notice or perhaps care. I ordered Chicken strips with double cheese mushroom pineapple and no puree on a thin crust? The thin crust was so dried out it could have been the carboard box it came in. There was puree on it and sweetcorn? We have someone who is allergic to sweetcorn so again another two diners without food. I would never order from these again. There was a excuse on the phone and then, well next time you order we will include a free pizza?? The next time? There will never be a next time. my advice ? Avoid...
