Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Teignbridge

Accurate, quick, nice and hot, friendly delivery driver, easy online ordering, and yummy! :) Edit Feb 2024. For the second time now I've had something wrong with my order and it's felt like a massive battle just to get a simple resolution, and has put me off from ordering again, so have edited my review from 5*. First time there was no BBQ sauce on the BBQ pizza I ordered, and person on phone made me feel like I should just get over it. What they should have done is just sent the correct order out but they agreed to bring us some BBQ sauce (normally it's cooked with it on of course). Tonight they failed to supply the drink we ordered as apparently have no drinks left at all-not a big deal but they still have them available on the website and never let us know, told us would be refunded but it wasn't sorted automatically and I had to ring and chase this. On ringing she didn't know what to do, told me they could give me one next time I order! Had to ask to speak to manager and she just said they'd refund it which is all I wanted sorting in the first place! (I used points, they couldn't add them back). Big fuss over nothing. The food was fine other than all squashed to one side in the box. It's really disappointing when you pay a lot of money to have a treat and you get...

Only got 1 star because you can’t get zero. On holiday July 2022. Went in store and waited nearly an hour as we were lesser priority than phone orders. Got back to holiday place - missing parts of order, incorrect pizzas issued and a vegan cheese pizza WAS NOT VEGAN. I called and was told by ALEX (who had taken the order) they would refund the parts missing as too busy to deliver- AND when I said I had had a bite of my vegan pizza and I’m sure it wasn’t vegan I asked to check my vegan pizza was vegan he realised it wasn’t and said it wasn’t acceptable and would refund the whole order. I asked for a manager to call. I had ZERO CALL and ZERO REFUND(we were told it would take 5working days for the refund- now on day 9since the order/complaint) Absolutely USELESS. And as I have a moral and physical intolerance to cheese ruined my next day- a day of a 6day trip wasted. AND as we were remotely located nowhere was open for me to have anything else to eat as it was a Sunday. It was over £50 for the order.In conclusion...

I ordered tow pizza’s at 18.29 and it too nearly two hours to deliver… I phoned twice during this time and both times the person an the manager told on both occasions that it was going out the door as we speak… considering it’s only 1.5 miles it took 20 mins to deliver them … during the phone calls I told them to cancel the order as I wasn’t happy with the pizza’s sitting on the hot plate for 1.5 hours … I have spoken to a manager in which he said they were very busy … which if they had told me in the beginning I would have understood… I was told that the cook them when they get the order in then it sits on a hot plate till there is a driver to deliver…. I have sent an email to Papper Johns but had no reply… or my money back … As you can imagine I will not be ordering from them again… I’m very disgusted with the whole set up …...
