5-Star Review for McDonald's
McDonald's is one of the most popular fast food chains in the world, and for good reason. They offer a wide variety of affordable food options, including burgers, fries, chicken nuggets, and milkshakes. Their food is consistently good, and their service is usually fast and efficient.
I recently had the opportunity to visit a McDonald's location in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, and I was very impressed. The restaurant was clean and well-organized, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I ordered a Big Mac, fries, and a milkshake, and my food was ready in no time.
The Big Mac was delicious. The burger was juicy and flavorful, and the special sauce added a nice tang. The fries were crispy and hot, and the milkshake was thick and creamy. I was very happy with the quality and taste of my food.
One of the things I like most about McDonald's is that they offer a variety of options for people with different dietary needs. For example, they have a number of gluten-free and vegetarian options available. They also offer a variety of healthy side options, such as fruit and salads.
I also appreciate the fact that McDonald's is committed to sustainability. The company is working to reduce its environmental impact by using more sustainable packaging and sourcing its ingredients responsibly.
Overall, I was very impressed with the McDonald's location in Clacton-on-Sea. The restaurant was clean and well-organized, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was high-quality and delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a convenient and affordable place to eat.

Read moreIf you have read my other reviews you will know I don't like to put a place down when the staff are really nice, and they are really nice and accommodating and polite and approachable, but eating out, even at a fast food restaurant is about the whole experience. Firstly this is a brand new place on a trading estate that is still evolving, so the place is bright airy and modern with the usual mix of self serve or counter order points. We opted to pay cash so went to the order point, nice polite staff member happy to list the options on drinks etc. We opted for wrap meals with two types of coffee and had table service. Once again nice cheery staff member delivered our food and arranged condiments, two pluses so far but here is where it goes wrong. The chicken in the wraps although freshly made was lukewarm, the fries were greasy, limp and lukewarm and the coffee was as thin as dishwater. The next failure was the state of the ladies toilet, my wife says they were so dirty that she went In the disabled instead(bad girl). I went in the men's and it was fine so I don't know why there was so much difference. The table we sat at wasn't dirty but it wasn't clean. Having now read some of the other reviews there seems to be a consistent thread, the food especially the fries are being served cold. The drive through is very slow and I have to say while I was there a lot of orders were delivered to cars via the side door. And the accuracy of the orders is questionable although mine was correct if not very nice. Some major issues to overcome and extra training needed if it is to be success. Just for the record it has a drive through that was busy and has disabled access, toilet and parking. Pay cash or card decent amount of parking if some moron in a dropped fiesta doesn't park over two bays at an angle "YOU KNOW...
Read moreUpdated: 7/11/23. Gave it 3 years for to sort out your opening hours. I think thats more than fair. Your Google business hours say restaurant open 24 hours and drive through 7am to 12pm. LIES!!!! The restaurant was closed wheb I arrived at 6:30am. Opening hours on door said DRIVE THRU OPEN 24 HOURS. STORE OPEN 8AM. Yet again you are closed. 3 years and you still haven't been able to publish and adhere to your own opening hours. It's crazy.
4 visits average star rating = just under 2 so had to round it up to 2.
25/11/20 7am: drive through closed. Left no food again. Zero stars
20/11/20. Just after 6am drive through closed . Dont want to go inside as keeping my exposure risk down. No food so left. Zero stats
Why not put a sign out explaining why its shut and a date/time until when?
1st lockdown reopen: 1st visit since reopen after lockdown. Took advantage of eat out scheme. 6:45 am. Food, service all good. Only strange thing was the direction arrow layout. Came in the main front door. Then found it had exit arrows after I already going in. Not sure how to get in officially. Then customers stand in front of door ordering from self pay so you cant exit through exit way. Perhaps more thought...
