Turkish Meze Bar — Restaurant in Tendring

Chaotic and unfriendly. This used to be a friendly place with good service. The service now is possibly the worst I've ever come across. I went in to place a takeaway order. The waitress was telling someone who had just placed an order that it would take a very long time because they were so full (it was half full). I asked if they were taking orders for takeaway and after a lot of umming and ahhhing she decided grudgingly they would serve me, but it cash only. I picked up the takeaway menu but she took it off me and told me to order from the restaurant menu ("because the prices are different" - of course they're different, you're not getting table service). The whole experience was very unprofessional and slapdash. The worst part, however, was when teo young ladies walked in and asked very politely if they could use the rest room as the public toilets were locked. They were refused very brusquely with the excuse that the toilets were for "paying customers only". It was at that point that I told them I'd changed my mind about ordering and that they really should have let a desperate, polite young lady use the toilet. Just after I left I was very pleased to see one of the other diners leaving the restaurant to show them the way to a pub which was presumably kinder and more generous...

me and my family come to this restaurant for a birthday meal not too long ago. The food was lovely the chefs where fantastic with out special requests was a lovely atmosphere except the waitress. i’m not aware of her name all i know is i over heard it began with P. She was rude a bossy and not someone i want handling our food. She demanded to sit where she wanted not where we felt comfortable (this is normal to some restaurants but there was no signs on display and we where already seated. seen as there was no one else in the restaurant then us at the time we thought this was quiet rude). The food was lovely but we won’t be back while she is there. as well as that she was not happy when we made changes to our food and got moody with us and sighed when we edited it. I would have given the restaurant 5 stars but i feel the waitress had ruined our experience so we now use the other turkish just...

I ordered for the first time ever tonight. It was late and we were hungry and no where else was open....... sounds bad but everything for a reason right? Yeah it was for a reason. Everything about this order was incredible the guy on the phone was so polite and professional even though I called late, the guy who delivered (glen) is very professional and polite, the speed of the delivery was one of the fastest I have had (15 mins) And the food 👏 fresh, hot, delicious, filling and most importantly very generous portions..... all for an incredible price!!!!!!. these guys have a new customer for years to come if this service stays the same...... If your considering ordering from here but not sure, take the chance and order you will not...
