The White Coffee House Japanese Cuisine — Restaurant in Tendring

Popped in for some takeaway sushi for lunch. The very friendly and chatty manager called out the chef to talk to us about what we might like. He then went off to make it which took around 15 mins. Food arrived nicely presented and with a complimentary miso soup for us to try. The staff were an absolute pleasure to deal with. We took our food away in a paper back with napkins and chopsticks. Both my husband and I agreed it was the best sushi we have ever had. The flavours were amazing! A lovely treat for £23. Yes it’s more than you would pay for sushi in Tesco but this was made fresh to order using fresh ingredients. We will definitely be back, and can’t wait to try more from the menu. A great addition to Harwich....

I ordered from here from Just Eat last week. I left them a review on just eat that said the food deserved to be eaten hot and that the service let them down. I think it was JE but you can never be sure.

I ordered again for collection this time so that poor delivery times could not be to blame. I got my Ramen home and it was piping hot.

As expected, the food was outstanding. The Seafood Ramen is so good and if I could afford to eat here more regularly, I definitely would.

Staff seemed lovely from my brief interaction but certainly a meal I would have when the occasion (or oure laziness)...

Freezing cold and completely unheated in the middle of winter. There was an insanely loud beeping noise throughout our meal, possibly some kind of alarm. Sushi wasn't bad, but fell apart immediately when picked up. One item we ordered was not as pictured on menu, another did not arrive as ordered, and a third was forgotten entirely. No tempura sauce for the tempura. Prices were reasonable but portions were on the small side - between two people we ordered 7 dishes and still left hungry. Would not return to dine in but would consider for delivery. Guessing most reviews are from...
