Ok food and good server/service even during busy times. The People who work here mean well and are trying hard to keep everyone attended to.
What's really disappointing that they just don't understand what 'vegan' means. When I asked if they had anything vegan, the waiteress was explaining what had gluten is really not relevant. Then went on to confirm 2 dishes were vegan, which we ordered. However one of them was served with eggs. When I explained to waitress - she fobbed me off by saying 'ok yeah' with very little understanding of how distressing it is for someone vegan to receive animal products on top of their food. It was unprofessional behaviour.
I also was disappointed by the cleanliness of the pot in which my peppermint tea came in. It had smudges all over and my tea cup had green bits on it which I cleaned myself with a tissue before pouring tea in it. Overall, I felt disappointed by low attention to detail.
Other issue was that the toilet lid keeps falling on your back and won't stay up!! Just overall not a very...
Read moreVery friendly people as they made a vegetarian salad with mushrooms instead of chicken and added roasted vegetables. I would have preferred more of the purple lettuce and spinach instead of the straggly lettuce it is not as filling so I was glad I had a tasty tomato soup that they added cream and olive oil and a wee cheese toasted bread and another toasted corner of bread. It was tasty. But I don’t understand why they precut the Dorset apple cake. Because it made it quite dry. But it was still tasty. The two cakes were gluten free which was great for me and the carrot cake was still lovely and moist even when it was sliced. But I would suggest you have a groove to where the person cuts the slices of the whole cake. As it keeps dryer cakes more moist. Because it’s not being dried out around the slice. Kind and helpful waitress. But none of them knew where the atm is. It’s on the...
