Tip Top Chinese Takeaway Fish & Chips — Restaurant in Test Valley

Not even a 1 star. Absolutely vile. 1st missing a rice so I got a curry no rice. 2nd I had a duck chow main which had chicken in also chicken fat and skin. Way too much sauce and the sauce is vile. 3rd Crispy shredded beef wasn’t crispy but was soggy and chewy. Only half a portion. Too much veg hardly any meat. Half the pot was sauce which tasted vile. 4th. Curry is not fresh and had been frozen previously. The meat chewier then gum. 5th made me so ill. I’ve been puking. 6th The person on the phone can’t speak basic English. 7th It’s a service so they could have at least have a smile even if it’s fake. Want a refund but can’t speak to person on phone. Never ordering from there again. Such a shame was amazing when...

Oh man, I really don't want to be writing this. Until recently this was the Chinese if you'd opt for that cuisine.

A month ago our food was 2 hours late and we were told there was only one driver. Fair enough, one off, it happens.

This weekend just gone... The same situation. Two and a half hours on from ordering for delivery, we had to go and pick up the food. It's all very well apologising for only having one driver but... Employ another on the busier nights and maybe courtesy call the people who have ordered to keep them posted. That's two consecutive times this...

They may have been on a slippery slope a couple of years back, but they've hired new chefs and cashier staff, improved their menus, have hired a delivery driver and improved their hygiene standards.

Not only that, but their duck dishes are perfect and serve the best udon noodles I have ever tasted.

They say that time is a healer, and this definately applies to this small resturaunt.

Please give them another chance. Totally worth...
