Dont no what's happened this used to be so lovely and was my favourite Chinese place we used to order every week from here but this is the third time now the food has been disgusting it's really gone down hill I ordered deep fried crispy chilli chicken which was like it had been reheated from the day before very hard and very burnt it was so bad my dog wouldn't even eat it I also ordered chicken balls for my children which they gave us prawn ones instead I called to say they made a mistake and that they are lucky I check inside first before taken a bite due to being allergic to prawns they were very rude on the phone I simple asked they refund me for the chicken balls or bring me a bag out which he refused on both parts the plain noodles where also disgusting was like chewing rubber I've binned the food taken the lost of money and I've reordered from the new wok in northway honestly save your money DO NOT BUY FROM THE LOTUS IN TEWKESBURY you will regret...

Absolutely disgusted to receive a large order on Tuesday over 45mins late. Food was cold and gloggy and completely inedible. I had called the take away to chase the order after waiting a hour and over the delivery time given, I was told it was on its way when it clearly wasn’t. I replied to a text message I was sent, and also a email address I found online as well as calling several times before speaking to someone this evening to be told. They don’t have a email address, they do not do refunds and they would give me a 20% credit for a future order. This is not good enough when the order itself was near £60. I have been a customer for years and this obviously means nothing. I have had small issues before which I have let go but after speaking to a young girl and the manager not even bothering to take the call I would seriously advise against. I placed an order for delivery, around £45, for a family takeaway. It was a Saturday night so I didn't expect it to arrive quickly.

1 hour 30 minutes and no food. I call for an update and I'm told my order is just about to leave. 25 minutes later no food. So I call for a second update. Driver has left, he is on his way, but he does have quite a few other orders to deliver. 30 minutes later, no food. I call and ask them to call the driver. The driver has mistakenly delivered my order to another house. They'll send a replacement out straight away. I take a deep calming breath and reply that I'll drive and pick my order up from the shop...I only live a 6 minute drive away. 6 minutes later I've collected my order. Odd how my order doesn't arrive for over 2 hours and 30 minutes but can be reproduced within the space of 6 minutes. I politely reminded the lady behind the counter to refund my delivery fee.

Food was OK...service dreadful...maybe...
