Miss Muffet's Delicatessen — Restaurant in Tewkesbury

We stopped in Tewkesbury for lunch on our way to Ross-on-Wye. So glad I looked up sandwiches on Google maps and found Miss Muffet’s! I ordered the cheddar and pickle on brown bread and my husband got the chicken bacon salad on brown bread. The bread was sliced nice and thick and the fillings were perfectly portioned. I would have taken a photo but we tucked in right away and it is probably the best sandwich I’ve had in a long time. I also appreciated that the lovely woman who made my sandwich shared some knowledge about the cheese as it is cave aged and can sometimes develop blue ribbons, not to be mistaken for mould, which adds a lovely flavour. I decided to send my dad and father in law a cheese and wine hamper for Father’s Day. My dad and mum were over the moon with it and said it was very well packed and presented beautifully. They enjoyed the cheese and crackers with my sister and brother in law who also thought it was lovely, the cheese crackers and chutney went down an absolute storm. My father in law was very happy with his cheese and wine hamper too and was looking forward to eating it. I now have my go to place for Father’s Day and birthdays. We visited this lovely deli in Tewkesbury to order a hamper for a gift. We were served by Kayte who was so helpful as we needed to personalise our choice. We then had a phone call from Simon who again was so obliging and the hamper arrived very well packed on the day that they promised it. The gift was very much appreciated. We also bought a few items in the shop and the pork pie and Scotch egg were the best we had tasted and we had a lovely loaf of bread too. Will definitely visit again when we are in the area. Thank...
